I'm Gaylin, and I teach second-grade math and English language arts. I love my job, and I love putting together lessons with activities and other effective learning strategies that encourage my students to learn independently. My tutoring experience includes working with K - 9th grade students, and I'm always looking for ways to help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help them become self-sufficient learners. I am looking forward to tutoring students in math, reading, grammar, ESL, English, reading comprehension, assessment test preparation, admissions tests, and other elementary and middle school topics. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and travel. I also enjoy participating in community service, learning to do new things like DIY, and grilling.
